Regular practice on Tuesday at the Cathedral (at 19h), St Matthew’s on the 12th (at 18h). Watch for notice of early-career sessions at 18h. There will be a session at 18h at the cathedral May 6.
Handbells at Cathedral (at 19h), every second Thursday. May 7th (to be confirmed) and 21st.
Events:
Cleanup of the ringing chamber at St. Matthew’s on May 12th, starting at 18h. Andrea will go in at 17h30, if anyone else can make it earlier, so we can try to finish quickly.
Cleanup of the ringing chamber at the cathedral on May 17th, after the service. So we will do the service ring, go to service or coffee, then start cleaning at noon.
Tower visits for the city on May 19th, at 17h30, 18h, and 18h30, finishing at 19h, to start a normal practice. Three groups of 12-15 people, so we need ringers in the ringing chamber and explainers downstairs. This raises funds for our guild.
May ringing weekend 22nd to 25th. Friday 15h, Saturday 9h30, Sunday 10h, Monday 9h30.
Visitors: The May 22-25 weekend – so far signed up are Billy Clarke, Rachel Titmuss, Nicholas and Brenda Parr, David Kelly, Phil and Gwen Rogers, Trisha Shannon, from the UK. Pauline and Callum Smith, Jackie Murphy, Linda Rankin from Toronto, and Wendy Dueck from Vancouver. Chris and Helen Haller, Elaine Hansen and Cally Perry, Laura Kang Ward, Josh Burson, Jenifer Francois and Jeff Crisco from the USA.
